Stereolithography is a technology that consists of making parts by adding materials. The materials used are photosensitive liquid resins.
The parts are made by building up successive layers, each up to 0.05 mm thick. During each pass, the resin is exposed to a laser beam that provides the wavelength necessary to harden the material.
The thin layers, the fact that the base material is in liquid form, and the high accuracy of the double spot laser beam ensure considerable part precision, with an enhanced level of detail.
